About the Item
Crafted in Macassar wood, one of the most prized and sought-after veneers, this sideboard highlights the natural beauty of the wood through its dark veining, crossed by reddish and golden nuances.
Macassar, a symbol of luxury and modernity in mid-20th-century furnishings, here becomes the absolute protagonist, enhanced by a glossy finish that amplifies the iridescent reflections of its surface.
The design is geometric and rigorous, featuring a top in ebony and glossy black lacquered details that emphasize horizontality and give the piece an architectural and elegant presence.
The sideboard develops through six large drawers, offering functionality and generous storage capacity while maintaining a linear aesthetic.
The promotional campaigns for the Katline model are today preserved in the Archives of the Fondazione Fiera Milano.
