About the Item

Large antique pine chest of four drawers with original blue painted finish and scalloped skirt. This large blanket chest was built in two sections with wrought iron handles on each side allowing for easier transportation and installation. The original blue paint has been gently distressed over generations of use, revealing the warm pine below. Two brass pulls on each drawer for ease of use. One key included as decoration only (locks no longer function). This large chest has been restored, case is sturdy and drawers function. All cracks, dings, aged separation (note photos of top) including drawer bottoms, wear around corners of drawers, etc. are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty of this large chest of drawers.
