Late 18th Century Blue Painted Chest of Three Drawers, Sweden

About the Item

The simple lines and gentle curves that accent this large pine chest of three drawers are reflective of its Swedish country styling. Note the paneled sides and scalloped skirt. Restored, later professionally painted in layered shades of blue and lightly distressed to fit the age and grace of this chest. The drawers function and open with two brass pulls on each. Key included as accent only. This chest is ready to be used and enjoyed. All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation (Old repairs seen in drawer bottoms) are reflective of generations of use and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this charming blue chest of drawers.
