This late eighteenth century French Louis XVI period walnut commode or chest of drawers features its original Saint Anne marble top. Its three drawers of dovetail construction are detailed with classic bronze squared drop handle drawer pulls. With rounded fluted corners extending to finial feet, this Louis XVI chest stands ready to grace any interior. c. 1790. Includes key with working lock in top drawer.
