About the Item

A beautiful tiger maple & cherry four drawer chest with a rectangular top surmounting a cherry case with four graduated drawers, each with cockbeaded tiger maple veneered drawer fronts and glass knobs, flanked by two birdseye maple arched panels and carved corner columns, and paneled sides, all supported by four turned feet. American, dating to circa 1820-1840, in very good condition, with some minor shrinkage, veneer repairs, and minor wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 49.13 in H x 42.38 in W x 20.88 in D.
