Louis XVI Style Black Lacquered Commode in the Manner of Maison Jansen
About the Item
This is a stunning and decorative French Directoire style dresser or credenza in the manner of Maison Jansen. This chest sits on gilt trimmed sluted and tapered legs ending in brass caps supporting an apron leading to a case of seven drawers with bronze pulls and one key lock. With a black lacquer finish is deep and rich, providing an elegant contrast to it's polished original brass trim and will work in both contemporary and traditional settings.
