A top quality Empire commode made in beautiful mahogany veneer (acajou moucheté) on solid oak. Ornaments of gilded bronze and with a fantastic ( purple -brown -white) Fossil Marble Top. Attributed to Jacob Frères, (1803-1813) Period Empire. France c.1810. Museum piece. Dimensions: H99 x W154 x D69cm. H38.98 x W60.63 x D27.17inch.
