A very fine and rare chest of drawers made in New York during the Chippendale period. Pre-Revolutionary case pieces from New York are rare and this chest exhibits many of the finest qualities from the period. The rich mahogany is enhanced by the original surface and color making this a highly sought after piece by American furniture collectors.
