Pair of French Louis XVI style leather wrapped commodes with bronze mounts. This handsome and elegant pair of large-scale chests of drawers are covered in leather with tooled gilt diamond pattern decoration. Very fine craftsmanship, possibly made by Maison Jansen. Mid-20th century, France. Can be purchased individually. Measures: 65 inches wide 34 high 23.4 deep.
