About the Item

This spacious Central European three drawer chest is largely bereft of any decoration except for an ogee crown molding that creates a step-down edge to the top and a nicely-executed chamfer on the front corners. The hand-cut dovetailed drawers are more or less equal in depth and the drawer fronts have a slight overlay. The wood is fairly clear, the grain pattern is even and there are only a few, mostly small, knots. This is a large chest with a substantial footprint, affording lots of storage space and able to accommodate a big screen bedroom TV.
