Rare Antique George II Oak Chest on Stand

About the Item

Exceptional and rare Queen Anne or George II era Oak Chest of Drawers on Stand, made in England circa 1720. Crafted in solid oak that has distressed into a warm honey patina over time, this two piece chest is designed with five functioning drawers on the top section and one larger drawer on the bottom. Detailed with decorative key holes, scalloped apron, cabriole legs, and square pad feet, this piece would be a magnificent addition to any living space. Dimensions: 39 in. Width 22 in. Depth 54 in. Height Condition notes: In good condition, with wear to surface and minor losses consistent with the chest's age and use. Hardware has been replaced from age, some splitting and separation to drawer fronts and inside wood. Fully functional.
