Set of Four Marble Top Italian Bombe Commodes
About the Item
Very special to have this matched set of four (4) marble top bombe commodes made in Italy circa 1980 in the Louis XV style.
Each has five drawers (two large lower and three small upper) including top center drawer with working lock and key.
Veneered with mahogany, walnut, satinwood and kingwood with ormolu mounts.
Custom fitted Italian marble tops with protective gloss coating.
These were imported from Italy and supplied by Trouvailles of Boston in 1983 for the lobby of a new luxury condominium building where they have been ever since.
We are offering these as a set of four only.
