About the Item

A fine Sheraton Federal period cherry and mahogany four drawer chest, its rectangular top with turret corners surmounting a case with four long beaded drawers with tiger maple fronts with decorative octagonal beehive brasses which read “Nothing Without Labor,” and all flanked by reeded corner columns, a nicely shaped skirt, all supported by four turned legs. This chest presents well and dates to circa 1810, in very good condition, with minimal imperfections and light wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 41.38 in H x 42.5 in W x 19.25 in D. Ref: 8
