Small French Inlaid Marquetry Bombe Chest with Fossil Limestone Top
About the Item
A stunning vintage French Bombe chest of drawers of small proportions. Beautiful Satin wood with marquetry inlay of rosewood and other exotic timbers. The top is a most gorgeous fossil limestone.
Condition is very good with a few small nicks and nibbles of veneer loss. The limestone is also in good condition, a good polish while not being over shiny. We do not have the key for the drawers but they are unlocked.
Please note - due to the rosewood content, this piece falls under CITES regulations, a certificate and special shipping arrangements are required.
