In thousands of Campaign pieces, I have never seen another of these, its an original Anglo India example so made during the English occupation of India, produced using Camphor wood which is a wonderful timber that doesn't transfer smells
This is around 30% smaller than a usual Campaign chest of drawers, think of it as a large side table chest. The doors are wonderfully recessed and carved out from single chunks of timber, inside we find six iron handled drawers, glorious, simply glorious
In terms of the condition, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom. There will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there as you would expect with a use campaign piece
