About the Item

A Swedish grace or Danish art deco commode in solid elm trimmed with flamed birch. Intarsia decorates the lowest of the three drawers. Patinated brass pulls. Drawers are deep and slide smoothly. The cabinet retains its original finish with age-appropriate patina all around. Excellent piece and versatile. In good order but comes without key to lock the drawers. Imported from Denmark maker unknown. Dates to the 1930s.
