Vintage Japanese Elm Tansu Step Media TV Cabinet Double Sided Chest Drawers 125"

About the Item

Vintage Tansu step chest / television storage cabinet. Purchased in Japan and shipped back in 2008. Made from beautiful elm with traditional staircase form. The cabinet is double sided with brass hardware. Features 11 exterior drawers (2 interior) a central TV or media cabinet and smaller lower cabinet to the side. The interior shelf is removable. The cabinet is made up of 3 pieces that can be used in the intended staircase form as shown. The two outer sections can also be flipped and stacked to make the cabinet slightly smaller and give more of an apothecary feel. If you used the flipped configuration the top / underside that is being used will be un finished along the top.
