18th Century Louis XVI Petite Commode

About

A fine 18th century Louis XVI petite marquetry commode by Parisian ebeniste (cabinet maker), Martin Ohneberg (b. Germany 1738). Beautiful inlay of mahogany, walnut and tulip wood with French polish finish. Oak as a secondary wood. Three dovetailed drawers with locks, but no keys. Bronze hardware. Original marble top has been repaired. Stamped into the wood underneath the marble top, upper right: M OHNEBERG. More photos available upon request. We have a large selection of French antiques.
