    Extraordinary pair Italian Louis XVI commode chest to late 18th century, realized of Giuseppe Maggiolini, the famous Italian cabinetmaker, with extensive inlay and marquetry of multiple woods , in quite overall good condition. This Northern Italian late 18th century commode features superlative marquetry and round inlaid medallions on each sides, with two different muses female bodies in the front and top too. Giuseppe Maggiolini (1738-1814) established his own workshop in Milan in 1758. In addition to serving the court of Milan, Maggiolini created pieces for other European royalty including the king of Poland, Empress Maria Theresa of Austria...
