18th Century Swedish Painted Two-Tiered Corner Cabinet

About the Item

18th Century Swedish painted two-tiered corner cabinet represents the essence of tailored elegance, with a rustic charm that only the Swedes can produce! Encompassing a quarter of a circle, it features a smaller radius at the top section, with a convenient gap between the top and the larger-radiused lower tier. Each tier is designed with recessed panels on the sides creating a pilaster framework for the raised & recessed panels of the pairs of doors between. The raised sections of the door panels have floral decoration painted highlights for added visual appeal. Tailored molding provides a tiered layering, with the crown executed in a rectilinear Greek wave motif for a classical touch. Even the interiors are painted and feature multiple shelves for ease in storage. The distressed painted finish with pastel blues and natural wood tones showing through only adds to the incredible visual appeal! Circa 1780s Measures 82 H x 42 W x 28 D.
