Antique 18th Century Georgian Inlaid Mahogany Freestanding Corner Cabinet 1790
About the Item
A fine antique freestanding inlaid Georgian mahogany corner cabinet, circa 1790.
The cabinet is made from flamed Cuban mahogany & having a dentil cornice to the top, below is an inlaid garland of swags & shields and the top part of the cabinet with a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing a pair of shaped shelves. The base having a pair of corresponding doors that are finely inlaid with satinwood & ebony oval paterae with inlaid satinwood spandrels, the doors enclosing a single shelf, the cabinet is raised on bracket feet.
The cabinet is in very good condition and is ready to grace your home.
