Antique English 18th C Georgian Mahogany Chippendale Lowboy Side Table 1750

About the Item

A good antique English Georgian Chippendale mahogany lowboy, circa 1750. The molded rectangular top overhangs the case, which has one long drawer above three smaller drawers, all are thumb-molded and have the original cast brass Rococo handles and lock-plates. The lowboy is raised on chamfered stile legs, with a shaped apron and pierced spandrel brackets at each side. The lowboy is of a great size and is in excellent condition, all original including the handles & escutcheons, having a warm and mellow original finish. This very handsome lowboy is ready to grace your home.
