Antique Genuine Swedish Gustavian Large Original Country Corner Cabinet
About the Item
Antique gustavian corner cabinet from northern Sweden made during the early 19th century, around 1820. The cabinet is an authentic Swedish country house furniture made in two parts. It has been restored to its original first paint. The age and history of the cabinet be seen in the rustic surface where the distressed paint allows the warmth of the pine underneath to shine trough. There are some marks of use which adds to the antique character of the cabinet.
Tall and stately this cabinet has a height and width which is sure to make it a focal point in any setting. The expression is furthered by the clean lines and strong pediment of the cabinet. In addition to the subtle decor of the midsection. Healthy and solid frame. The cabinet has working locks and keys. The lower cabinet measures 99 cm high and the sides facing the walls are both 72 cm wide.
