Antique Northern Swedish Country House White Gustavian Style Corner Cabinet
About the Item
Antique country corner cabinet in gustavian style from northern Sweden. The cabinet is made around the 1820s by hand in solid pine. It’s made in two parts with a detachable mid section – see picture. Straight classic shape, healthy and solid frame. The cabinet has been scraped by hand to the original paint which gives it a unique character. Working locks and keys.
The short ends facing the walls are 63 cm wide on the lower cabinet. Straight across the front it measures 89.5 cm and it’s 63 cm deep. The height of the lower, mid and upper section is 102, 17 and 111 cm respectively.
