Charming 18th Century Italian Late Baroque Paint & Gilt Mesh Door Corner Cabinet

About

The combination of the subtle blue color and gilt trim makes this corner cabinet especially attractive. The two upper mesh doors open up to a Venetian red interior with shaped gilt trimmed shelves, the lower carved panel doors encloses a one shelf interior. The cabinet dates to the late 1700s, a period where the traditional more opulent Baroque style was changing under the influence of the French Louis XVI designs.
