Pair of Narrow Lyby Mobler Danish Teak Sliding Door Cabinets
By Laurits M. Larsen, Arne Vodder, Kai Kristiansen, Lyby Mobler
Located in Chattanooga, TN
Pair of restored Lyby Mobler Danish teak sliding door cabinets. This pair of early Danish teak cabinets are part of a modular system. Place them side by side to create one long setup. Otherwise use each cabinet independently. This pair consists two narrow (12.5″ Deep) cabinets. Each cabinet has a single shelf inside. This shelf is adjustable height and removable. The back sides are finished… this is a bonus! The finished back allows fluid placement with your space. These need not be relegated to a wall! They can be used in open floor plans to help define your space. The cabinets are ideal for home or office. Achieve a tidy, sophisticated look with a beautiful Scandinavian storage solution. The narrow depth make these perfect for placement in a hallway or behind a sofa. We also have several other pieces from this collection including a taller bookcase, side tables and more cabinets of different configurations. They are all from one modular group. These sibling pieces are sold separately. Inquire if you are interested. Our restoration included refinishing and adding new, custom crafted solid wood legs. These elegant, narrow teak cabinets...

Lighted Danish Rosewood Glass Door Hutch Cabinet Bookcase with Carved Pulls
By Poul Hundevad, Arne Vodder, Erik Brouer, Bernhard Pedersen & Son
Located in Chattanooga, TN
Envision an heirloom of Scandinavian grace—a luminous display cabinet that seamlessly transforms function into art. Crafted in Denmark in the 1970s by Bernhard Pedersen & Son, this distinguished piece embodies the distilled essence of Danish Modern design: elegant proportions, richly grained rosewood, and seamless craftsmanship. Set into the facade are glass-fronted doors, their smooth surfaces accented by sculptural, solid rosewood carved pulls—each curve carefully echoed in the subtly contoured banding that frames the cabinet. Open the doors to discover a spacious, mirrored interior, thoughtfully illuminated from within and outfitted with adjustable or removable glass shelves—ideal for curated display of china, glassware, or cherished volumes. The cabinet stands on graciously tapered, turned wood legs—restored and deliberately toned to a slightly darker hue, adding depth and visual contrast to the rosewood body. Threaded metal insert nuts ensure that the legs attach securely and elegantly, merging integrity with finesse. This is design rooted in the highest aspirations. The construction features tight joinery and choice materials, evident even in the gentle patina that only decades of stewardship can bestow. The cabinet measures a stately 64.5 inches in width, 16 inches in depth, and 49 inches in height—proportions that make it a commanding presence in living rooms, libraries, or refined dining spaces. Comparable lighting-topped rosewood cabinets in exceptional condition currently exchange in the realm of $3,300, confirming the enduring demand for this rare blend of craftsmanship and elegant functionality . Meanwhile, references across peer platforms affirm the unique stature of pieces by this Danish maker, particularly when illuminated internally and retaining original rosewood tone and build integrity  More than a piece of furniture, this cabinet is a statement—a timeless emblem of Scandinavian modernity that radiates sophistication by day and glows with understated elegance each evening. For collectors and connoisseurs of mid-century design, it offers a rare opportunity to own something that is both functional and timelessly refinished—a silent ambassador of refined taste and enduring design excellence. Illuminated from the interior, this Scandinavian display cabinet...

Raymond Loewy Inspired Yellow Chapter One Stereo Record Cabinet Broyhill Premier
By Raymond Loewy, Broyhill
Located in Chattanooga, TN
Measuring about 30 inches wide × 18 inches deep × 30 inches high, this vintage Chapter One stereo/record cabinet is compact yet charismatic, offering both storage and style. All painted wood surfaces have been professionally sanded, primed, and refinished; the formerly green doors now glow in a canary yellow lacquer that captures the playful, optimistic spirit of the 1970s. The body is a crisp white that contrasts beautifully with the yellow doors. Chrome pulls and the laminate top have been buffed to a glass-like shine, restoring both brilliance and tactile smoothness. Behind two hinged doors sits a removable/adjustable shelf, enabling flexible storage for records, media components, or barware. A discreet hole has been drilled in the back panel to allow wires to pass through and components to vent, so it works as a media cabinet or dry bar with elegance. Vintage character remains in small, affectionate details: minor surface wear under close inspection, light patina around chrome edges, subtle variation in finish that affirms origin rather than detracting. Structurally strong, doors align, pulls and hinges function smoothly. Visually this cabinet serves as more than storage—it’s a centerpiece. It suits interiors that welcome bold color and retro personality: pair with minimalist furniture so the yellow pops, or with mirrored/accented surfaces and warm woods that echo the warmth. It makes a statement in living rooms, dens, or music/entertainment corners where presence and practicality matter. For collectors who value Broyhill’s Chapter One line, restored condition, and design with both culture and function, this cabinet feels rare. It offers story, color, and utility in equal measure. The FMV restoration team pulled no punches on this Broyhill Chapter One...
