George III Mahogany Corner Cupboard
About the Item
George III mahogany corner cupboard, has a fluted and gadrooned carved frieze. The cornice is embellished with carved egg and dart molding and carved acanthus leaves in the broken pediment. The center plinth is fluted with a cast brass eagle. The upper half has two blind fret marquees with stylized tassels below. The lower doors are crotch mahogany flanked by reeded stiles.
