Georgian pine barrel back shelved corner or alcove cupboard
This is a wonderful old architectural piece, it is a floor standing unit and would have been made to fit in to an alcove in a Georgian room
At the bottom there is a shelved cupboard, over this there are 3 prettily shaped open shelves over 3 tiny drawers, these are framed with an arched opening, and an attractive dentil cornice finishes off the top
The cabinet is in pine and the interior is painted in a Coral pink, this is a good surface and would be simple to paint with another colour
The cabinet is in good antique condition
The cabinet is 86” tall, 48” wide over all and 24” deep (very difficult to measure accurately )
