18th Century George III Adam Satinwood Credenzas Hand Painted Gilt 1700

About the Item

Fantastic English cabinet, Satinwood, with parts decorated in pure gold , carved columns, finely painted in the classic Adams Brothers style, George III era , second half of the eighteenth century , in good condition, the pieces, which you see in the photos, missing are all there. Palace furniture , superior quality , in short we are looking at a small work of art. In addition satinwood , like birch or maple is a wood with a sunny color and really gives an extra touch to any furniture .

    An Italian carved and painted wood credenza from the 18th century. This antique cabinet from Italy has a rectangular-shape, with front corners convexly scalloped inward, giving this piece a lovely shaped. The case houses a pair of smaller sized drawers set horizontally at top, above a pair of recessed panel doors at front. The skirting is heavily molded, and this chest is raised upon carved bracket-style feet which give open arch-shaped designs at the underside. The pair of doors open to reveal storage within, and flank a recessed panel at front which is adorn with a carved garland hanging downward within its center.
