About the Item

This is a Fleetwood "Flexible" Rolling Storage Chest, designed by Henry P. Glass for Zeeland Furniture in the 1960s. It was an element of the Fleetwood "Flexible" line of school furniture, and it features locking caster wheels for ease of use. The frame is tubular steel, and it has a birch plywood case. The fittings ae done in brushed aluminum, and the top is white Formica. This chest measures 22.25 inches deep, 48.25 inches wide, and 26 inches high. There are some superficial scrapes and scratches on the birch surface, and some scratches on the Formica. The casters show some signs of use. Overall, this uncommon storage chest is in good condition. Please see photos.
