About the Item
The Brume cabinet features a solid wood case with 2 sliding doors with fabric panels and solid brass hardware. This versatile storage piece can be used as a media cabinet below a TV, in the dining room to display dining ware, or in the entry to store shoes and everyday items. Shown in solid walnut but can be made to order in a number of domestic hardwoods including oak, cherry, maple, and ash.
The fabric door panels are shown in a naturally dyed Japanese cotton weave. We can source a variety of cotton, linen, and wool fabrics or you can provide your own. In addition to the fabric panels the doors can also be hand caned, made with solid wood slats, or leather.
Customization Options

Tretiak Works
Tretiak Works is a furniture and design studio based in Portland, OR. Founded in 2013 by Nick Tretiak, we focus on simple, functional pieces that will last. Our work draws from Shaker, early American, and Scandinavian design, and utilizes a range of natural materials with an emphasis on domestic hardwoods. We believe in durability, both in construction and in aesthetic. With this in mind, we employ time-tested and appealing traditional construction methods such as mortise and tenon joinery and dovetailed drawers. We look to create timeless pieces that will endure, can complement any home, and will be passed down through generations.
