About the Item
Circa 1960s Mid-Century Modern low dresser or credenza. Comprised of 12 drawers, 4 of which are concealed behind the central door flanked by 2 ranks of 4 drawers. Walnut. Plinth base with concealed casters. Mahogany, tulip poplar and yellow pine secondary woods. Attributed to Dixie Furniture Co., Lexington, NC. Known for high quality furniture construction until closing in 1987. This bold design features in several of them MCM lines. Excellent condition wiht minor nicks commensurate with age & use.
