Danish Teak Sliding Door Credenza Media Cabinet on Hairpin Legs

About the Item

Our restoration team loved working on this perfectly proportioned cabinet. The deep, roasted cinnamon tone in the teak wood indicates an early vintage (late 1950s-early 1960s). A patina of such richness can only be garnered by half a century of age. The artfully carved recessed pulls come together to complete a full ellipse. The design is simple and seamless. A celebration of Scandinavian minimalism. The sideboard is both beautiful and high functioning with ample private storage space and adjustable / removable shelving. This cabinet is a mix of solid teak and teak veneer over a solid ash or pine core. Replete with finished back. Not only did our restoration team do an amazing job detailing this Danish teak credenza, but they restored the top and mitigated nearly all the flaws on top. Only very minor imperfections remain. We also replaced the original wood block legs with taller hairpin legs that we felt complimented the design and added more functionality by increasing the height. The original wood blocks can be re-installed and are included with this purchase. Condition disclaimer: This is not a new item. Although our offerings are lovingly restored, that does not mean that they are in perfect mint condition. We do our best to manage the expectations of potential buyers by disclosing imperfections with both photos and descriptions. Keep in mind that most of our items are several decades old. Small blemishes, scratches and color variations may remain after our restoration process. Items with original fabric may have pilling or sun fading. Additional closeup condition photos are available upon request.
