Victorian inlaid walnut side cabinet This Victorian inlaid walnut side cabinet was made circa 1870 in one of the finest workshops of the period. To each side of the pair of cupboard doors are display shelves lined in tooled leather. The cupboard encloses shelves again lined in gilt tooled leather. The highly figured and burr walnut top is crossbanded in Kingwood and purple heart moulding to the edge. Each door is also crossbanded in Kingwood with a central panel of fine Marquetry inlay. Mounted is fantastic cast gilt mounts this Victorian cabinet was made to a quality not to a price. This is a sumptuous side cabinet, and you can view similar styles in Royal Palaces including Osbourne House. Imagine how wonderful this will look in your home.
