Extraordinary Pair of John-Richard Silvered Leather Credenzas
About the Item
An incredible Pair of Large and very Decorative Silvered Leather Chests from John-Richard. Pair of impressive John Richard silver gilt credenzas with gilt lattice and floral decoration throughout. The cabinets are accentuated by smooth gilt and lavish carved egg and dart trim. The scalloped form with a bow center presents with one long drawer flanked by two short drawers having gold paint decorated interiors and above conforming cabinet doors. The doors open to reveal one shelf to each side. The center doors open to two shelves and a full length drawer. All the doors and drawers fitted with solid brass tear drop pulls. The cabinets resting on tapering gilt paneled legs.
Dimensions: 82" L, 26" D, 37" H
Condition: Please see detail photos. Both cabinets with a few losses along edges, one cabinet with dull dent to front right corner and one cabinet with indented dots on the top surface which do not greatly detract from the dramatic presentation.
