About the Item
The MK2 Mobley, like its predecessor, features a relief carved front panel, but with more emphasis on contrast and texture. Each individual divot is planned and hand carved along the front to ensure balance, and no two cabinets are ever the same.
In the spirit of Wabi Sabi, the contoured front is intentionally left with slight variation and texture from the carving process, offering a connection with the craftsman who made the piece.
It’s shown here in solid Ebonized Walnut, with the individual carved divots being the only visual cue to the beauty of the wood beneath, but we also offer this piece in any of our signature finishes or finish combinations.
As with all our Black Label pieces, each commissioned cabinet will be serialized, dated, and signed by the craftsman in our shop who made it.
