19th Century Italian Painted Single Door Cabinet

About the Item

A rare, one-of-a-kind antique Italian painted marbleized parcel gilt cabinet with beautifully aged distressed patina. circa 1830 Hand-crafted in Italy in the mid-19th century, high-quality solid wood construction with hand painted white with gilded accents. Having a shaped top with projecting corners, over conforming case fitted with a single large cupboard door, affixed with patinated bronze fittings, opening to spacious shelved interior, flanked by faux marble inlays, over scalloped skirt, rising on bracket feet. The front base presents with unique cloth strips affixed to cover corner joints. Dimensions: (approx) 39.5" High, 38" Wide, 26" Deep Having the ideal size and proportions for a variety of different uses, including as a large side cabinet, buffet table sideboard server, credenza, oversized hall console, dry bar, or placed in the foyer as a stunning entry statement piece!
