Alpine Blue Painted Wardrobe 1774 Measurements: H. 183 cm – W. 126 cm (138 cm to the corners) – D. 47 cm (54 cm to the corners) Period: 1774 Origin: Tyrol (European Alpine Region Italy-Austria) Essence: Fir Description: Two-door wardrobe entirely painted in light blue. On the doors there are four hexagonal panels of oxidized white, containing vases of colorful flowers, the date and the initials of the first client. On the entire surface, including the notches and the sides, there are scrolls and ramages in shades of blue, red and white which make the whole precious and refined. Internally the wardrobe is empty and can be customized with shelves and/or clothes hanger pole, according to needs. The piece of furniture can be divided into two parts, vertically, to facilitate transport. The hardware is beautiful and excellently preserved: key, lock, hinges, as well as the locking hook on the left door, all original and working. Information on the restoration: The photographs you see show the piece of furniture not yet restored. The state of conservation is excellent. At the time of sale, the piece of furniture will be supplied completely restored. The customer will decide the desired degree of restoration. Our laboratory guarantees the conservative restoration of each piece of furniture while respecting its integrity. Each piece of furniture is treated to guarantee solidity and hygiene. In particular, the following are carried out: – structural restoration – careful anti-woodworm treatment – cleaning and sanitizing of interiors – external finish with natural beeswax – internal finish with shellac (alcohol-based natural paint) Upon request, we can agree on the desired degree of restoration and the customization of the internal fittings (coat hanger poles, shelves, etc…).
