Antique 19th C French Renaissance Revival Carved Oak Hunt Cabinet Hutch Cupboard

Exceptional Antique 19th Century Renaissance Revival Hunt Cabinet. Hand carved from oak with an upper display portion raised over a figural griffon carved backsplash. Features low relief carved doors with neoclassical motifs showcasing a basket of fruit over a quiver, foliate and leaves. Interior opens to two adjustable shelves. The outer stiles of the hutch are carved with figural spandrels over an acanthus and berry motif. Crown is centered by a pronounced gargoyle motif between a leaf and vine motif set between French medallions. The lower portion has two hand dovetailed drawers with ornated foliate motif and hand carved wooden drawer pulls. Lower cabinet and stiles are carved in a similar manner to the top. Base opens to an adjustable shelf. Serving area is accented by a beautiful cartouche along the back between a leaf and berry motif. Surface molding is carved with the classic egg and dart pattern. The cabinet is meticulously carved throughout. Case is supported by bun feet. This beautiful cabinet will draw attention in any space.     Monumental Antique Mechelen Renaissance Revival China Hutch, circa 1890s. Made from oak with elaborate figural and floral carved details. Features vibrant original stained glass windows. The buffet or server section of the cabinet has a large table surface, 2 drawers and lower cabinet with two additional drawers and a shelf. The hutch rest upon turned columns and chrysanthemum carved backsplash flanked by acanthus foliate. Includes two interior adjustable shelves and amazing geometric glass doors with a star at the center. The cabinet is ordained with high relief 3/4 French Renaissance figures, Lion heads with brass rings, Cameo panels, Gadrooning, chrysanthemum flowers and pedals. Most are of the less ornate variety and lacking the character of figural and animal carved details.
