~Direct from France~
~Unique hand carved designs on this lovely antique French cabinet, in a versatile size and style.~
~Full length upper door has distinctive carvings (surely this was commissioned) on the three panels. Left and right panels have carved warrior/soldier cameo medallions, with each facing the center, having a carved fruit urn above and French scrolls and foliate surrounding.~
~Center door panel has ornately carved oval with center cameo flanked by winged sea creatures!~
~Carved ‘fish scale’ designs to both sides of the front, continuing completely down the legs~
~Two drawers, each having carved winged serpents and dimensional lion masks to either side~
~Large open lower area, perfect for display and storage~
~Well built by craftsmen of the period~
