Antique American Carved Red Oak Pie Safe Cabinet
About the Item
A charming antique American hand carved, solid red oak pie-safe/cabinet with carved folk art decoration of flowers and leaves, having two drawers with original “fancy” brass bale pulls, one wooden shelf behind upper glass doors and one wooden shelf behind lower wood doors.
From the best of my knowledge, originating from a plantation near Breaux Bridge, Louisiana.

Glass has been replaced. Otherwise, all original. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. The piece has been cleaned and polished. The original finish is intact.
