About

A pantry or kitchen cabinet for storage of assorted comestibles and utensils. The two top shelves are enclosed by two pair of center hinged doors, and are separated from the bottom compartments by a row of three drawers. The two separate bottom shelves are enclosed by pairs of sliding doors. The slatted compartment floors and sides of the lowest level, may indicate that these shelves were used for curing or air-drying. A complex and infrequently seen piece of Chinese cabinetry; it can be repurposed for present day uses beyond culinary.
