This amazing undisturbed original blue painted early 19thc step back or pewter cupboard comes to us from a forty year old Americana collection.This step back was originally sold at Skinner's Auction over forty years ago.It came from a wonderful Americana collection in New England.
The condition is very good with early cut nail construction and picture frame molding surrounding the upper shelf exterior.The cupboard is all original painted surface with wear & tear from age and use.
This cupboard is a great find and wonderful investment.A great addition to any Americana or folk art collection.
