Early American Country Pine Primitive Dry Sink, Late 18th Century
About the Item
This very early American pine dry sink is a primitive beauty. The impressive craftsmanship that went into the construction of this piece has allowed it to stand the test of time. The entire piece is constructed and joined with hand chiseled dove tails, from the case to the two doors and two drawers . The door backs are hand planed/chamfered, the knobs are fixed primitively as was seen of this era. The hand planed drawers fronts reflect a primitive period so very long ago. The only metal on this piece are seen in the hand-forged iron hinges. An extra special quality often seen in a piece this age is the small mouse hole in the back! This is an authentic early American find that would be perfect for primitive, rustic or farm country lovers and especially, for the collector!

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Piece is in great condition! Has wonderful age and patination overall, meaning that there are normal dings and dents found on a piece this age creating character. As seen with pieces this age, there are two small mouse holes as seen in the images!
