French Late 19th-Early 20th C. Carved Tiered Server

About the Item

A remarkable French server with fine traditional form and lots of levels for entertaining. Serpentine form, with a tall back and carved cartouche crest over a top shelf with brackets. A deeper middle shelf with scrolled supports over a tooled leather top center serving shelf. A flush serpentine carved frieze drawer over two lower shaped tiers between tall cabriole legs. Elaborate carving overall. H. 74', W. middle 31", W. top 27", Depth 23" Condition: Please see detail photos. Repaired corner left side facing. As expected, there is a worn leather shelf, stains on back above leather shelf, lower tiers worn with stains and old ring marks, but overall condition is very good and the Server presents exceptionally well.
