- Antique French Deux Corp 'Cupboard' in Original Finish from Chateau UnrestoredLocated in Chicago, ILThis extremely rare, Antique French Cupboard, is from the Château de Loyat in Brittany, which I believe dates back to the 1500, was in a condition, that Antique dealers can only dream of. The French Cupboard or Cabinet, is exactly what you would expect, a 300-year-old antique French Cabinet to look like, if no one ever touched the finish, let alone restore the Antique Cupboard. Our opinion is, that this Antique French Cupboard or Cabinet, could have been made in the late 1600s or early 1700s and if I did not know that this Cupboard was made from French White Oak, one would have thought it was constructed of iron, based on its weight. Our centuries old French Cupboard, was constructed without the use of any nails or glue, for the entire Antique Cabinet was assembled using wooden pegs. Our Old Plank restoration department, has just completed a 240-hour conservation procedure, wherein lieu of just replacing the old worn wood oak boards, we chose to harden them and only used small fillets of antique French Oak for repair. Yes, this became a labor of love, but for us, to find an antique French Cabinet, in this virgin untouched state, is quite rare nowadays, so, the choice was made to conserve, rather than restore, which required triple the labor. Our Antique French Deux Corps...Category

- Antique Cupboard from Ireland Great Patina Unrestored Original Paint, C1800'sLocated in Chicago, ILThe Antique Cupboard that was removed from a home we believe may have been in Scotland. The Antique Cabinet, or Cupboard was located in Ireland, but upon cleaning out the Antique Painted Cupboard, we found receipts from the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland dated 1967. Certainly not definitive, however, the cabinet is absolutely from the British Isles and more than that, is the fact that no one has attempted to restore, or worse yet, refinish the cupboard. The Patina of Old Original Paint is quite impressive and I only wish we could duplicate it. This Painted Antique Cupboard...Category

- Antique French Buffet from St-Malo, Malouin 'Brittany' Region, DisassemblesLocated in Chicago, ILExquisite antique French Buffet from the St-Malo, Malouin region of France and what makes this French Buffet so special and so unusual, besides the obvious, it’s incredible visual impact, is that whomever originally built this French Buffet, designed it so that it completely disassembles, allowing it to maneuver 90-degree tight hallway turns, or fit into those petite elevators. We have seen this type of construction on 20th Buffets, but never on a real Antique...Category
