18th Century Double Sided Desk Louis XV Walnut Attributed J.F Hache

About the Item

Double sided desk Louis XV walnut attributed to J.F Hache (1730-1796) dating from the eighteenth century. Very good state of conservation despite traces of restoration on the drawers. Height with bleachers 94 cm. Note the double sided drawers. Height under the headband 57 cm (51 cm on the sides). Note that the same desk (without the stands but with double sided drawers) with substantially the same dimensions but in its version inlaid floral Italian was presented by Pierre Rouge at the Paris Biennial in 1988 (see catalog of the Paris Biennale at the Grand Palais).
