18th Century Spanish Bureau Desk Walnut Wood

About the Item

This is a beautiful Spanish desk from the 18th century, Carlos III era. Made of walnut wood in complete pieces of wood, both on the sides, drawer fronts and lid with a hidden "dovetail" assembly. It has four drawers, a desk with a hinged lid, which when opened reveals smaller drawers and others hidden in the interior very from the time to hide documents and belongings. The fittings are from the time in bronze and both the keys and the locks are the original ones, this furniture combined a use to store belongings and as a desk. It is a very beautiful piece of furniture and very well preserved. read less.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. No replacement of original parts has been made, cleaning has been done removing varnishes that did not reveal their original color, the structure has been fixed.
