19th Century Classical Charles X Burled Mahogany Secretaire a Abattant

About the Item

A dramatic Charles X fall front secretary in astounding burled mahogany veneer. The original fossilized marble top is supported by an elliptical molding. The main body contains one upper drawer and three below the desk area. The secretary workspace features its original weathered leather writing surface and a number of drawers and prospect door, France, circa 1840.
