English Victorian sterling-mounted coromandel writing slope box on stand, c.1875, sterling silver mounts hallmarked George Betjemann & Sons, hinged top opening to inset leather writing slope, velvet pen rest, storage compartments, leather-clad inkwell and match striker with sterling silver lids, box seated on stand with pull-out slide, straight legs with scrolled spandrels, joined by side stretchers.
